Gave 5 stars as it was exactly as advertised. A good price. Clean rooms. A decent kitchen with full sized fridge ,stove, microwave kettle and coffee maker etc. Parking is fine and it is pet friendly with a small fee. As mentioned in other reviews the motel is on a well . This has a what I assume is a little iron in it which colours the water a bit. We just brought a couple of gallons of water with us for drinks. Problem solved..

Good room service, large rooms, lots of dishes provided and plenty of beds. Nothing was broken and the power bar next to the bed was a nice touch. Decent location close to the ocean and it is not too far from downtown Powell River. There is a very scenic cliff next to the road on the opposite side of the motel that looks down on the beach and ocean. Tap water was a very slight brown tint at the time of this review, however. If it weren't safe to drink I'm sure there would be a notice posted, but I still drank bottled.
We vacationed for a week in Powell River, and stayed here. It’s conveniently located, near a grocery store and can easily access the local sites. The rooms and washroom are clean and the service is excellent. The room we booked had a well equipped kitchen. And there is a small picnic area with an ocean view. The only negative thing is the water, although previous reviews mentioned this and we came prepared. We really enjoyed our stay here.

At check-in it was super easy the front desk person was so friendly and even gave us a little bit of the highlights of what was going on in Powell River. Room is a little dated and carpets need to be replaced but otherwise clean and well equipped for a kitchen with a full apartment-sized fridge complete stove and everything you need to cook and eat with. We did book the queen with kitchen at a very reasonable price of $140. Would definitely stay here again it is a inexpensive friendly great location area to stay in. And although we do not have pets it is also pet friendly with a small fee.
